Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join the Legal team supporting a large Federal agency. This full-time mid-level role requires logging productions, summarizing long cover letters, and ensuring load readiness in Relativity.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of eDiscovery experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; three years of additional, directly relevant work experience may substitute for the degree.
• Knowledge of information resources.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure and tight deadlines.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks as defined in the Duties & Responsibilities.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest long cover letters and provide a brief production description.
• Call producing party to obtain passwords for encrypted media when needed.
• Determine if cover letters have substantive information for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan productions off-network using multiple tools; address issues or reject as needed.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network following protocol.
• Follow procedures for handling whistleblower, RFPA, MOUs, International, BSA, audio files, transcripts, laptops or paper documents.
• Analyze productions to determine processing type and applicable protocol.
• Assess data completeness and communicate any issues to Litigation Support.
