Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join the Legal department for a large Federal agency. You will manage eDiscovery productions, assess processing needs, and ensure virus-free, load-ready data in Relativity while adhering to security and compliance requirements.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and a proven track record of delivering under pressure. A U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience supporting project tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and describe production details.
• Coordinate password retrieval when encrypted media is received.
• Assess whether content qualifies for loading into Relativity and ensure data completeness.
• Virus scan productions off-network and resolve issues per protocol.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network following procedures.
• Handle varied document types per protocol ( whistleblower, MOUs, RFPA, etc.).
• Monitor for incoming productions via email and FTP; OCR small paper documents for Relativity.
