Job summary

CGS seeks a Senior eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join a fast-paced legal team and support a broad portfolio of government-related matters. The role focuses on advising on preservation, collection, processing, and production of ESI using FBI toolsets and evolving best practices.

You will monitor legal and technological developments, test upgrades, and help establish standard operating procedures while collaborating with both technical teams and senior leadership. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with focus on client solutions.
• 3+ years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders and team players.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment.
• Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred)
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation to determine impact on FBI Discovery policies and procedures.
• Monitor industry to determine how new technology or best practices can be applied to improve FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Conduct testing of system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Verify proposed solution delivers a new functional business capability addressing requirements.
• Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil litigation, select criminal matters, FOIA, Congressional requests, and external inquiries using the FBI tools and processes.
• Monitor daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensure proper preservation of material subject to legal hold.
• Update and/or create SOPs of the ETA role.
• Provide strong technical background on the use of electronic discovery applications and strong legal background and expertise on the electronic discovery applications.]
