Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to join a fast-paced Legal department. The role supports multiple aspects of the company’s portfolio, providing litigation technology expertise and guidance on eDiscovery processes.

You will monitor laws affecting litigation, advise on FBI Discovery practices, and ensure solutions meet needs, including preserving ESI for civil and criminal matters.

Qualifications

• 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience.
• 3 years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
• 2 years in Relativity.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical business leaders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation and their impact on FBI Discovery policies.
• Monitor industry to apply new technology or best practices to FBI Discovery.
• Verify proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Test system upgrades or patches prior to release.
• Ensure delivery of new functional business capabilities addressing requirements.
• Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI for civil litigation, select criminal matters, FOIA and Congressional requests.
• Monitor legal hold custodians and ensure preservation of material.
• Update or create SOPs for the ETA role.
• Provide strong technical background on electronic discovery applications and strong legal background on eDiscovery tools.
