Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an EDI Implementation Specialist to support onboarding and implementation of trading partner integrations. You will coordinate system setup, validate data mappings, and develop test cases to ensure accurate end-to-end processing across test and production environments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of EDI experience, HIPAA knowledge, and strong communication skills to work with clients and internal teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of knowledge of EDI transactions and testing of X12 formats (837P/837I/837 Outgoing/999/TA1/U277).
• 2+ years using crosswalks and HIPAA implementation guides to validate data mapping.
• 2+ years understanding privacy rules and HIPAA compliance.
• 2+ years client-facing experience resolving issues and supporting solutions.
• 2+ years in a client-facing environment for EDI testing and problem solving.
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly language.
• Strong motivation, self-direction, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and implementation of EDI partners by coordinating system setup and testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define implementation needs.
• Develop and execute test cases to validate end-to-end processing across environments.
• Review technical specs and HIPAA-related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Educate and support clients through implementation activities and changes to communications protocols.
