Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an EDI Implementation Specialist to support onboarding and implementation of EDI partners. The role involves coordinating system setup, testing, and production readiness; gathering business requirements; and ensuring end-to-end processing accuracy across test and production environments.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of experience with EDI, HIPAA compliance, and client-facing collaboration, with an associate degree and a bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with EDI transactions and testing of X12 formats (837P/837I/999/TA1/U277).
• 2+ years using crosswalks and HIPAA guides to map data to database fields.
• 2+ years understanding HIPAA privacy rules and compliance.
• 2+ years in a client-facing role resolving issues and coordinating with clients.
• Strong written and spoken communication with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and implementation of EDI partners, including system setup and testing.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to gather requirements and define implementation needs.
• Develop and execute test cases to validate end-to-end processing in test and production environments.
• Review technical specs and healthcare EDI formats to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Educate and support clients through implementation activities and protocol changes.
