Job summary

CVS Health seeks an EDI Implementation Specialist to coordinate onboarding, configuration, testing, and production readiness for partners. You will gather requirements with stakeholders, document needs, and ensure end-to-end processing across test and production environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years knowledge of EDI transactions including X12 837P/837I/837 Outgoing/999/TA1/U277
• 2+ years using crosswalks and HIPAA implementation guides to validate data mapping
• 2+ years understanding privacy rules and HIPAA compliance
• 2+ years client-facing experience on EDI issue resolution and testing
• 2+ years experience in client-facing EDI testing, root-cause analysis and problem-solving discussions
• Excellent ability to present ideas in business-friendly language
• Highly motivated and self-directed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and work in high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system setup, configuration, testing, and production readiness for onboarding EDI partners
• Gather business requirements with stakeholders and document implementation needs
• Develop and execute test cases to validate end-to-end processing across test and production environments
• Review technical specifications and HIPAA formats to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Educate and support clients through implementation, including production prep and protocol changes
