Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Developer (EDI) to lead EDI workflows in a remote capacity for the VA department. This full-time role requires 8+ years in Edifecs and EDI with strong AWS experience and data validation skills.

Ideal candidates will interpret EDI loops, support SNIP compliance, and collaborate with DevSecOps, cloud teams, and business partners to ensure accurate transaction processing and data quality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Edifecs product experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations.
• 8+ years of EDI/HIPAA experience.
• Experience with EDIFECS transactions and X12 workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own EDI workflows, partner requirements, and data validation rules.
• Ensure accurate transaction processing and support business operations.
• Interpret and troubleshoot 270/271, 276/277, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837, 999/277CA transactions.
