Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned networking and infrastructure leader to own the delivery of enterprise connectivity services. You will oversee a team of connectivity engineers, drive strategy for datacenter edge, LAN/WAN, and cloud connectivity, and collaborate with security, architecture, and service-management teams to ensure reliable operations and cost-effective delivery. This role requires strong leadership and communication in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/engineering/related field.
• 10+ years in network engineering, connectivity operations, or enterprise infra.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or service domains.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, firewalls, wireless, WAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with ITSM, governance, change control, and incident leadership.
• Ability to align priorities with business users and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own service delivery and operational performance for enterprise connectivity services (datacenter edge, LAN/WAN, wireless, cloud).
• Set priorities, service objectives, and operational expectations aligned with IT strategy.
• Directly manage connectivity engineers/leads and oversee workload, on-call, and staffing.
• Lead performance management: goals, coaching, evaluations, and development.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, security, and support teams for coordinated delivery.
• Ensure governance for incidents, changes, configuration standards, and security controls.
• Oversee vendor and carrier relationships, escalations, and service performance reviews.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, lifecycle planning, and cost optimization for connectivity services.
• Translate strategy and roadmap priorities into executable team plans.
• Monitor service health, risks, and technical debt; drive improvements.
• Champion standardization, automation, and customer-service culture.
