Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Sr. Site Content Specialist to support ecommerce content objectives across digital platforms. You will lead content calendars, develop plans, and design site content that aligns with brand campaigns and product sell-through strategies.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong analytics, and experience with enterprise CMS tools. This hybrid position is based in Carlsbad, CA, with in-office presence four days a week.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, certification, or equivalent experience in a related field.
5–8 years of professional experience in eCommerce, digital content management, site operations, or a related field.
Experience with enterprise content management systems such as Amplience, AEM, or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills and experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics).
Experience with Hotjar, Quantum Metrics, or similar analytics platforms.
Experience with SFCC, Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
Knowledge of SEO, project management, and content marketing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Supports overall eCommerce content objectives across digital platforms.
Leads site content calendars and helps execute content strategy.
Designs site content to support real-time consumer demand and brand campaigns.
Reviews content calendars for accuracy and communicates with stakeholders.
Develops content plans to support shopping, product, brand, and marketing needs.
Writes briefs and signs off on content requests; provides creative feedback.
Analyzes content performance and shares insights.
Collaborates with teams to enrich content strategy and signoffs.
