Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Sr. Site Content Specialist to support ecommerce content objectives across digital platforms. You will lead content calendars, develop plans, and design site content that aligns with brand campaigns and product sell-through strategies.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, strong analytics, and experience with enterprise CMS tools. This hybrid position is based in Carlsbad, CA, with in-office presence four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, certification, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in eCommerce, digital content management, site operations, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise content management systems such as Amplience, AEM, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics).
• Experience with Hotjar, Quantum Metrics, or similar analytics platforms.
• Experience with SFCC, Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO, project management, and content marketing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Balances priorities and problem solves the best consumer experience possible while supporting the business.* Writes creative briefs and signs off on all content request tickets. Fields questions and provides creative review feedback.* Reviews copy for accuracy. Analyzes and shares insight on content performance. Assists in development of content goals and test ideas.* Analyzes key product categories, growth areas, site features, and integrated campaigns to generate ideas to improve engagement, revenue, and repeat visitors.* Reviews second-level and quality assurance testing. Assists with signoff for all site content.
