Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects in the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and data interpretation for federal, state, and local programs.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, contribute to DQOs, QAPPs, SAPs, and risk modeling efforts, and present findings to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in science with professional registration/certification.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and projects.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Supports site investigations and analysis for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Contributes to DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs for projects.
• Assists with planning CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs and BERAs.
• Collaborates with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists to implement project approaches.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors junior staff.
• Supports proposals and develops white papers on emerging issues.
