Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to deploy and support hybrid cloud and on‑premise ECH solutions. You will configure systems, perform site verification testing, manage production cutovers, and document changes for customers and partners.

The role is remote within the US with up to 75% travel nationally and internationally. It requires 3+ years in deployment of complex IP products, cloud and virtualization expertise, and eligibility for a US

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS or Microsoft required.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud-based apps including connectivity, latency, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with server virtualization and Windows/Linux operating systems.
• Willingness for up to 75% travel domestically and internationally.
• U.S. passport eligible for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Perform site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configure connectivity between on-site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provide deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Address installation and quality issues promptly.
• Contribute to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Support pre-contract oral presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
