Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring a Remote ECH Field Engineer to lead deployments of Emergency Call Handling systems across on-premise and cloud environments. You will configure, test, cutover, and support hybrid solutions while collaborating with customers and partners.

You’ll travel up to 75% in the US and internationally, applying strong network, cloud, and telephony skills to ensure reliable deployments and early issue resolution. A solid background in Windows/Linux and AD helps drive success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering or technical deployment environments.
• Experience with ECH or public safety deployments is a plus.
• Cloud certifications are a plus, AWS or Azure fundamentals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Verify site readiness and perform production cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provide remote and on-site deployment support to customers and partners.
• Document configuration changes and API integrations throughout deployment.
• Contribute to cloud migration methods and update SOPs as needed.
• Engage in customer negotiations and pre-contract briefs as required.
• Maintain SME knowledge of evolving cloud-native public safety tech.
