Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Remote ECH Field Engineer to lead system configuration, testing, and deployment of on-premise and cloud-hosted Emergency Call Handling solutions across the US. This role involves heavy travel and independent work within a field engineering team.

You will configure, test, and troubleshoot cloud and local integrations, support customers and partners, document changes, and contribute to cloud migration methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are required.
• Experience with Cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with installation, administration, and troubleshooting of virtualization and servers (RedHat KVM, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
• Microsoft SQL Server experience is a plus.
• US passport eligibility and 75% travel readiness.
• Public Safety Applications deployment/integration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configures and troubleshoots ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cut.
• Configures connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API configurations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly.
• Assists in developing cloud migration/MOPs.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and negotiations as needed.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
