Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior ECAD Library Engineer to own the enterprise electronic component library. You will ensure a single source of truth for component data and drive governance across AV sites and programs.

You will collaborate with engineers and supply chain to deliver accurate, traceable library data, enabling reuse, faster builds, and compliance with IPC and safety standards across defense products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5+ years in electronic component library management or related governance role.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D component representations.
• Working knowledge of IPC-7351 and IPC-7251 land patterns and JEDEC outlines.
• Experience with ECAD tooling and data synchronization with PLM/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern the enterprise electronic component library as the primary owner.
• Collaborate with Program Chief Engineers and Design Engineers to intake requests and align library work with schedules.
• Serve as the enterprise Component Library SME interfacing with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and suppliers.
• Support multiple IPTs across development, production, and sustainment with authoritative library data.
• Lead data standardization to enable reuse and reduce duplication across AV sites.
