Job summary

Humanoid is advancing humanoid robotics with a deeply embedded hardware platform. We seek an ECAD Librarian to own and grow the Altium component library for our Boston, Vancouver, and London EE teams, ensuring accurate, manufacturable parts from draft to production.

You will enforce standards, validate data against datasheets, and drive traceability and lifecycle management to reduce resins and rework. Join a fast-moving startup to shape library hygiene and integration with PLM.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, including schematic library and PCB footprint creation.
• Familiarity with component lifecycle concepts (draft/preliminary/released) and traceability.
• Strong attention to datasheets, pin counts, pad geometry, and package dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Altium component library: symbols, footprints, 3D models for new components.
• Enforce library standards and naming conventions across the team.
• Manage component lifecycle, from Draft to Production in Altium.
• Verify part numbers, alternates, and data attached to library parts.
• Support where-used traceability for components, symbols, and footprints.
• Collaborate with Boston and London designers to validate changes.
• Align Altium data with Teamcenter PLM and part numbering systems.
• Perform bulk library cleanups to reduce duplication.
• Document library rules and statuses in Confluence.
