Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Senior Project Controller with EVMS experience to manage cost, schedule, and performance for complex government and commercial programs. You will partner with program managers and finance teams to maintain baselines, budgets, and forecasting.

Responsibilities include analyzing cost performance, preparing estimates at completion, and ensuring contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in Finance/Accounting; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
• Experience as a Project Controller
• Experience with government contracts preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and overall MS Office suite and a working knowledge of relevant software applications.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint & Cognos Reporting
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Required #LI-MH1

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control system and monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
• Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and submitting timely funding requests.
• Incorporates contractual changes into control systems and maintains realistic cost and schedule baselines.
