Job summary

HII Unmanned Systems within Mission Technologies seeks a Senior Project Controller to lead cost, schedule, and performance management on complex government and commercial programs.

You will develop budgets, forecasts, EACs, and funding profiles while coordinating with Program Managers, CAMs, and Finance to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Strong Excel, Costpoint, Cobra, and Cognos skills are required, with a proven EVMS and defense contracting track record.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting; 8 years with Masters; or 14 years with HS diploma.
• Experience as a Project Controller.
• Experience with government contracts preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and MS Office; working knowledge of relevant software.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint & Cognos Reporting.
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up cost control system and monitors costs and schedules on contracts.
• Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts stay within parameters and guidelines.
• Prepares budgets and schedules and analyzes funding profiles and variances.
• Prepares program plans to capture requirements and schedule.
• Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Ensures adequate funding by tracking expenditures and submitting funding requests.
