Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a Senior EAP Consultant (Remote U.S.) to join our team. You will provide expert management and clinical consultation to clients, support clinical teams, and deliver trainings in a virtual environment.

The role requires leading risk assessments, coordinating with onsite clinicians, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA and privacy rules while supporting diverse workplaces across the country.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted clinical license (examples listed: LCSW, LCSW-C, LICSW, LISW, LISW-CP, LCPC, LPCC, LPC, LMHC, LCMHC, LMFT, Ph.D./Psy.D.).
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family, Psychology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined experience in EAP, substance abuse counseling, and/or behavioral health services.
• 2+ years of experience conducting clinical assessments with expertise in substance use and psychosocial workplace impact.
• 2+ years of experience with chemical dependency assessments and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• In-depth knowledge of confidentiality standards, including HIPAA and ethical guidelines in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic consultation to management and HR within our customer base.
• Assess workplace issues and develop tailored action plans; ensure compliance with ADA, DOT, harassment laws, and Duty to Warn.
• Perform routine and urgent clinical risk assessments with expert-level consultation and referrals.
• Conduct case reviews with Onsite Clinicians and EAP Affiliates to ensure coordinated care.
• Collaborate with Clinical Leadership to review and manage high-risk cases.
• Provide clinical consultation to EAP Consultants, Onsite Clinicians, and EAP Affiliate providers.
