Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking an experienced E&I Designer to perform complex electrical and instrumentation design in Beaumont, TX. The role requires 8+ years of industrial experience and expertise in NEC, wiring, and 15kV/5kV equipment specs.

You will prepare installation details, motor control center drawings, lighting, grounding, and control wiring, while mentoring junior drafters and supporting startup on site.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or CAD required.
• 8+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation drafting and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce installation details, MCC single lines, electric room layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop 480VAC and 15kV/5kV equipment specs with engineering approval.
• Create electrical installation documents from vendor drawings and CAD standards.
• Provide on-site startup assistance and mentor junior drafting staff.
• Coordinate work with staff and discipline leads.
