Job summary

The ideal candidate has a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of industrial experience and PE preferred. Strong communication and CAD proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and application of the current version of the NEC.
• Familiarity with construction bulk materials specs and installation details.
• Ability to perform lighting level calculations.
• Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.
• Ability to route conduit and cable tray.
• Ability to develop equipment specifications and data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical/instrumentation systems for projects and prepares drawings for construction.
• Provide on-site startup support and field data collection.
• Check calculations for accuracy and conformance to codes and design criteria.
• Assist drafting group with layouts and detailing problems.
• Develop construction specifications and review vendor drawings for electrical input.
• Collaborate with leaders from other disciplines to ensure smooth project flow.
