Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer in Beaumont, TX. The role involves complete design work for electrical and instrumentation projects, including calculations, sketches, and constructability reviews.

You will support startups and collaborate with other disciplines to deliver efficient, compliant solutions. The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering (PE preferred), NEC proficiency, and hands-on experience with CAD tools, wiring/conduit

Qualifications

Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design standards.
Ability to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power.
Experience with control valves sizing and instrumentation specifications.
Experience producing installation documents from vendor drawings.

Responsibilities

Perform complete electrical/instrumentation designs for projects of varying scope.
Produce design calculations, sketches, and material takeoffs.
Provide on-site startup support and field data gathering.
Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformance.
Develop construction specifications and cost estimates.
Coordinate with other design leads to ensure timely deliverables.
Produce installation details, cable schedules, and panel layouts.
