Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior Discovery IT System Administrator to join our Legal department. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of electronic discovery applications, maintaining system infrastructure, and coordinating with vendors for fixes and enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Relativity or Veritas eDP, and proficiently manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and SQL Server environments. Opportunity for growth within a government-focused tech team.

Qualifications

• Experience administering electronic discovery applications and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Relativity, Veritas eDP, or similar cloud review tools.
• Ability to install, operate, and manage Microsoft Server 2019/2022 and Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and related tools.
• Administer and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure; install, configure, test and maintain operating systems and tools.
• Monitor performance for bottlenecks; coordinate with vendors and developers to implement fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Liaise with vendors on behalf of the organization and participate in architecture discussions.
• Develop and provide training for end-users; supply SME support and guidance.
• Support discovery tool integration and migration activities.
• Contribute to Knowledge Management databases with technical articles.
• Document the as‑is architecture of legacy applications or systems and translate business requirements into technical specs.
