Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Discovery IT System Administrator to join a fast-paced team in the Legal department. The role focuses on ensuring availability of e-discovery applications, administering Windows servers and SQL databases, and coordinating with vendors on product issues.

The candidate should have strong EDRM knowledge, experience with Relativity or Veritas eDP, and proficiency across Azure, AWS, and on-premise/server environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise eDiscovery platforms and legal tech incl. Relativity or similar.
• Solid understanding of EDRM processes and legal workflows.
• Experience with SQL databases and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Ability to admin and monitor Windows Server environments and SQL servers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and tools; manage system uptime.
• Administer and monitor installed systems; install, configure, test, and maintain OS and apps.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement fixes with vendors.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies; support migration activities.
• Provide training and offer SME guidance on e-discovery tools and workflows.
• Document as‑is architecture of legacy systems and translate requirements into technical specs.
