Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Discovery IT System Administrator to join a fast-paced legal team. You will manage electronic discovery applications, administer systems, and collaborate with vendors to ensure performance and security.

The role emphasizes training end-users, supporting migrations, and ensuring robust back-end infrastructure in a cloud-enabled environment with Relativity and other tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and testing disaster recovery and security protocols.
• Ability to liaise with vendors and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience training end-users on discovery tools and processes.
• Strong understanding of e-discovery platforms and related cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day availability of electronic discovery applications and tools.
• Administer and monitor installed systems; install, test and maintain OS and apps.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate fixes with vendors/developers.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies; support architecture discussions.
• Assist in implementation of e-discovery tools (Relativity, Veritas eDP, etc.).
• Liaise with vendors to address product issues and contribute to knowledge base.
