CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Billing Specialist to lead the e-billing and payment cycle workflow, posting payments, reconciling deposits, and supervising a receivables team. The role requires a strong accounting foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced government-contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of legal billing/receivables experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of e-billing and related software.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate observance of e-billing requirements and processes.
• Prepares monthly, semi-monthly and ad-hoc billing reports for internal and external clients.
• Ensures timely invoice submission to clients, based on established timelines.
• Creates and distributes ad hoc operational and billing reports to management as requested.
• Works with Controller and Accounting Department to improve timeliness and accuracy of billing.
• Supervises e-billing and receivables staff.
• Evaluates staff skill levels and recommends training or changes.
• Contributes to staff performance appraisals and hiring decisions.
