Job summary

9010 Aven Hospitality Inc. is seeking an experienced Dynatrace Administrator to advance our observability strategy and improve reliability across cloud and application estates. You will be hands-on in managing Dynatrace, AI-driven monitoring, and integration with supporting tools, working with SRE, DevOps, and EA teams.

The role focuses on defining SLIs/SLOs, enhancing dashboards, and building automation via APIs, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines to reduce outages and improve customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Dynatrace in large scale environments.
• Hands-on SRE experience with observability strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native apps.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools integration (Splunk, ServiceNow).
• Ability to define SLIs/SLOs and reliability metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own Dynatrace platform administration and governance across cloud/app estate.
• Design and implement end-to-end observability standards for infra, apps, DBs, containers.
• Lead onboarding of new apps/services into Dynatrace with consistent monitoring.
• Develop alerting strategies and AI-driven anomaly detection to reduce noise.
• Configure Dynatrace Davis AI, management zones, tagging, dashboards, service rules.
• Collaborate with Cloud Eng/SRE/DevOps/DBA teams to define SLI/SLOs.
• Investigate RCAs for incidents and outages; drive reliability improvements.
• Implement observability best practices for Kubernetes and microservices.
• Create executive and engineering dashboards for availability and performance insights.
• Develop automation for monitoring deployment and observability-as-code (APIs, Terraform, CI/CD).
• Optimize data retention and licensing to maximize value.
