Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Dynatrace Subject Matter Expert to oversee enterprise observability and application performance monitoring within a large financial services environment. You will lead a team of Dynatrace engineers, own platform architecture, and drive a strategy for full-stack visibility across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on Dynatrace in enterprise settings, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of APM, SRE, distributed tracing,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Dynatrace in large enterprise environments.
• 8+ years in Application Performance Monitoring, Observability, or SRE.
• Proven experience leading or supervising technical teams.
• Strong expertise in Dynatrace deployment/configuration and service mapping.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Dynatrace SME duties including platform architecture, deployment, and optimization.
• Define and enforce monitoring standards, alerting strategies, and governance.
• Develop and execute an enterprise observability roadmap aligned to digital initiatives.
• Collaborate with application Dev, DevOps, SRE, and security teams; mentor staff.
• Support incident response, post-incident reviews, and executive dashboards.
