Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Direct Support Professional V to oversee daily operations and quality of care at the Richmond State Supported Living Center. This senior DSP role leads a home, coordinates staffing, and ensures compliance with care plans and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years’ experience working with people with developmental or physical disabilities is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and delivery of quality programs and services on the assigned home.
• Trains and supervises DSP staff; hires, coaches, and conducts performance evaluations.
• Ensures health care needs are met, infection control and safe environment, and adherence to risk management protocols.
