Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Corpus Christi is seeking a Direct Support Professional III to join a dedicated team at the State Supported Living Center. The DSP III provides direct care, monitors health and safety, and carries out individualized treatment plans under supervision across morning, evening, or night shifts.

The role requires teamwork, documentation, and the ability to respond to emergencies while maintaining a respectful, person-centered approach.

• Documentation of daily life, activities, and incidents

Mansioni

• Performs direct care and support services to individuals.
• Implements habilitation and rehabilitation, behavior management, crisis intervention, and treatment programs.
• Documents information on the person’s life and daily schedule.
• Assists with medication administration and reports significant changes.
• Provides training/mentorship to new DSPs as part of the team.
• Serves as shift/team lead when the DSP IV Lead/Charge is not on duty.
