Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is looking for a DSP IV, Lead/Charge DSP at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center. You will lead habilitation and rehabilitation activities, coordinate staff coverage, and ensure safety and documentation compliance across morning, evening, and night shifts.

The role requires DSP experience, behavior program work, and the ability to train others. Evening/night/weekend shifts may apply; telework is not available.

Qualifications

• One year of DSP experience or equivalent in care settings.
• Experience implementing behavior programs or assisting with daily living activities.
• Experience completing documentation or writing reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate habilitation and rehabilitation plans with staff and individuals.
• Supervise staff, ensure engagement, and maintain daily documentation.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new DSPs.
• Assist with PBSPs, CIPs, and safety procedures for emergencies.
