Qualifications

• One year experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Experience implementing behavior programs or assisting people with intellectual developmental disabilities
• Experience completing documentation or writing reports
• Preferred: two years of experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates habilitation and rehabilitation, behavior management, crisis intervention, and treatment programs.
• Assigns staff to ensure supervision and engagement
• Provides on-the-job training and mentorship to new DSPs
• Maintains daily documentation and progress communication with supervisor
• Leads DSP staff and models proper care and safety procedures
• Trains and mentors staff on incident reporting, evacuations, and infection control
