Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission in Lubbock is seeking a Direct Support Professional III to join a dedicated team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role supports daily living activities, behavior programs, and treatment plans within a residential care setting.

The DSP III works under supervision, may lead shifts, and participates in training. Evening and other shifts are available, with up to 5% travel and potential weekend hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support services to individuals.
• Follow treatment plans and life skills training.
• Document progress and incidents in the record system.
• Assist with daily living activities and medication administration as directed.
