Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years Operations experience including Customer Service, Fleet Management, or Load Planning.
• DOT regulations knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively promote safety metrics and KPIs around service pickup %, deadhead %, assignments per week, and other objectives.
• Supervises driver performance to balance business and driver needs.
• Coach drivers on performance or behavior using High Performance Coaching.
• Ensure high level of service for U.S. Xpress customers through proactive communication.
• Maximize profitability and revenue through equipment utilization.
• Foster win/win scenarios with high driver and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate with drivers on physicals, random drug screens, and CDL renewal deadlines.
• Plan driver loads based on availability and ensure on-time service.
• Collaborate across departments and perform yard duties as needed.
