Zusammenfassung

Volkert is seeking an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer to support our Southeast Region located in Florida offices. You will design stormwater drainage systems, analyze hydraulic models, and mentor junior staff across multiple projects.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, Florida PE, 5–10 years of drainage/water resources experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, Geopak, Civil3D, Storm CAD, ORD, ICPR, HEC-RAS, GIS or SUDA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Florida PE are required.
• 5–10 years of drainage/water resources experience with FDOT is preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Civil3D, HEC-RAS and related tools is expected.
• Experience with FDOT standards, Florida DEP and Water Management Districts is a plus.

• Collect and analyze data for project plans and reports.
• Design stormwater drainage systems and erosion control using industry software.
• Model hydrologic/hydraulic aspects for transportation projects.
• Coordinate permitting with regulatory agencies.
• Prepare construction details, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Review calculations and drawings for compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with project schedules and collaboration across disciplines.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee design activities.
