Job summary

Serco Inc. in the Wright Patterson AFB area seeks a Senior SME Software Engineer to support AFLCMC/WAG and DoD programs.

You will oversee software architecture, evaluate CI/CD solutions, and translate user requirements into contract system requirements, aligning development with MBSE and DoD cybersecurity considerations. A Top-Secret/SCI eligible clearance is required, along with a Masters in Engineering and extensive DoD experience.

Qualifications

Active Top-SECRET security clearance with SCI access and SAP eligibility is required.
Master's Degree in Engineering with 20+ years DoD or government-related experience.
Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within last 5 years.
Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

Oversee software engineering architecture for CI/CD in DoD software pipelines.
Assess interfaces among software, firmware, and hardware.
Translate user requirements into contract system requirements using MBSE.
Audit contractor software configuration and verify quality accreditation.
Review system design, architecture, and interoperability requirements.
Evaluate test plans and analyze data to guide actions.
Interface with contractors, vendors, and Government representatives on software activities.
