Leidos Inc is seeking a seasoned Firewall Engineer for the DISA IT Operation in Arlington, VA. This role requires extensive experience in firewall management, specifically with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies, to enhance security posture and performance.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of experience, including a strong background in cloud environments and network security. Candidates must have an active DOD Top Secret security clearance and should be willing to maintain a CI/Poly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of directly relevant experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Cisco/Palo Alto Firewall experience in engineering and operations.
• 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and remediate security gaps in firewalls.
• Provide Tier 3 support to operations network administrations.
• Conduct assessments of firewall configurations.
