Job summary

Total Force Alliance, LLC supports the DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC) to ensure continuous DISN services for DoD and national security agencies. This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance and a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, with 24x7 shift readiness and hands-on experience in transport/IP networks.

Responsibilities include real-time circuit design changes, proactive monitoring, and incident management across diverse network technologies, ensuring maximum availability for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Able to work in a 24x7 shift work environment.
• Deep understanding of Transport and IP network topologies.
• Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Tech control facility or cyber transport experience (preferred).
• IP/Transport architecture experience (preferred).
• Telco NOC experience (preferred).
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management, change management (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across optical and Ethernet devices.
• Perform real-time circuit redesign to restore connectivity during outages and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and agencies to maximize network availability.
• Monitor network alarms with platform management tools.
• Conduct change management tasks: hardware replacements, software configurations, ASI management.
• Document outages, degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions in incident systems.
• Assess and resolve network incidents using routers, switches, crypto devices, CISCO, Juniper.
• Leverage MSPP and SDH/SONET concepts for root-cause analysis.
