Job summary

Leidos seeks a skilled network operations professional to support DISA-provided DISN services through the DGOC. The role involves incident management, 24/7 monitoring, and collaboration across O&M teams to maintain continuous operations.

Responsibilities include triaging ServiceNow tickets, fault isolation, and coordinating with service providers. A current DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification and an active Secret clearance are required, with TS eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification by start date.
• Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS clearance.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, performance management.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage incident tickets using ServiceNow/ ITSM; triage queues and provide feedback.
• Monitor network events 24/7/365; analyze alarms, identify root causes, and coordinate fault corrections.
• Notify contacts about incidents; provide timely situational awareness to leadership and teams.
• Support fault isolation and troubleshooting; diagnose issues with network elements and replace faulty components.
• Restore networks and services; ensure SLA compliance; document changes in the CMDB; provide 24/7/365 outage support.
• Assist in training Network controllers; evaluate SOPs and tools; contribute to future DISN operations projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in DISN functions and provide advanced technical guidance to peers and leadership.
