Job summary

SHR Consulting Group, LLC in Arlington, VA, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee dailyDISA J-9 HAC operations, incident response, and 24x7 monitoring. You will coordinate with Government leadership and the On-Site Program Manager to ensure mission-critical IT services stay available and secure.

The ideal candidate brings extensive DoD IT operations experience, strong staff leadership, and a track record of delivering on schedule within complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in DoD IT environments and writing IT policies.
• Experience managing client SLAs and performance metrics.
• Knowledge of backend/server infrastructures and enterprise apps.
• Experience with large-scale deployments of Linux/Windows servers.
• DoD IT security practices and JIE initiatives understanding.
• Strong oral and written briefing skills for Government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across the DISA J-9 HAC portfolio.
• Own incident management, restoration, and root-cause actions.
• Direct 24x7x365 monitoring and on-call escalation.
• Coordinate with On-Site PM and Government leadership on status.
• Lead operational initiatives and track milestones in IMS.
• Implement DoD policies and procedures; ensure security compliance.
• Manage staff onboarding and ensure required clearances and training.
