PD Inc International is seeking an experienced Senior J-9 HaC Incident Response Analyst to provide cybersecurity management support in a U.S. government DoD environment.

The role is based at Fort Meade, MD, and requires active Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Responsibilities include monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber incidents, maintaining logs and chain of custody, and coordinating with CSSP and PoCs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five+ years incident response, cybersecurity and SIEM or log review.
• Three+ years Microsoft Office Products.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Current 8570/8140 certification.

Responsabilités

• Ensure DISA approved security tools monitor, alert, and retain event logs in accordance with DoD and DISA policies.
• Facilitate remediation of incident report deficiencies with J-9 HaC Points of Contact (PoC).
• Maintain situational awareness of the network within the J-9 HaC and report suspicious activity, including insider threats.
• Perform audit log reviews with DISA approved tools to detect, analyze, investigate, escalate, monitor, and mitigate suspicious events; escalate to CSSP PoCs.
• Maintain chain of custody and data integrity of incident response data and evidence.
• Investigate mitigation of Negligent Disclosure of Classified Information or other spillages.
• Coordinate incident response support through Ecosystem PoCs.
• Maintain copies of latest incident response tool kits per CSSP and DoD/DISA policies.
• Document, train, and raise awareness of mitigated threats to reduce risk to Government personnel.
