Job summary

Leidos in Virginia seeks a Deputy Operations Manager to support a large DoD customer, overseeing infrastructure operations and coordinating with the Operations Manager, PM, and Deputy PM to manage risks and lifecycle for enterprise services.

The role requires experience in problem management, DoD IT standards, RMF/DoDAF, ITSM, and ServiceNow, plus US citizenship and polygraph eligibility. This is a senior leadership position within a government-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have familiarity with DoD IT standards and practices.
• Experience conducting problem management and root-cause analysis.
• Experience briefing military/government leadership.
• Knowledge of RMF, DoDAF, ITSM and ServiceNow.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain polygraph (TS/SCI preferred).
• Bachelor's degree with required experience; advanced degrees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work effort of a diverse team of IT System Administrators supporting infrastructure systems/services.
• Coordinate response to service outages, track restoration efforts, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Cyber Security to resolve issues impacting Operations.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure staff follow best practices in a large enterprise environment.
• Monitor system availability, analyze incidents, and report KPIs to leadership.
