Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager (Contingency Hire) to lead day-to-day IT operations supporting DoD programs. You will manage technical personnel, ensure service delivery, and maintain operational readiness across enterprise IT services.

The role collaborates with engineering, cybersecurity, and program management teams to guarantee compliance with contractual requirements and DoD standards, while driving continuous process improvements and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification required.
• DoD 8140.01 compliance for System Administration Core per DCWF.
• Minimum 10 years in IT operations with ITSM best practices in Federal Government.
• Minimum 10 years in senior IT management roles supporting Federal Government/DoD operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily IT operations supporting enterprise and mission-critical systems.
• Oversee system administration, network operations, service desk, and operational support functions.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and contractual obligations.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, metrics, and performance objectives.
• Coordinate with Government customers, program management, and engineering teams for mission success.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement continuous improvements.
• Support budgeting, reporting, and resource management.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technical personnel.
