Job summary

SHR Consulting Group, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operations across the DISA J-9 HAC portfolio. This is a Key Personnel position centered on incident response, monitoring, and coordinated execution with the On-Site Program Manager and Government leadership.

You will guide a large technical staff, maintain DoD IT policy compliance, and drive improvements while ensuring COOP readiness; this full-time role is based in Arlington, VA with competitive salary and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large IT programs with staff of similar size
• Experience developing and implementing DoD IT policies and procedures
• Experience managing client SLAs and performance reporting
• Knowledge of backend server and infrastructure environments
• Experience with DoD IT security practices and JIE initiatives
• DoD 8570.01-M / 8140 certification preferred
• Strong briefing and communication skills with Government leadership
• Experience in a DoD IT environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across the J-9 HAC portfolio including infra, storage, apps, and messaging
• Own incident management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Direct 24x7x365 monitoring and ensure procedures are followed
• Coordinate with On-Site PM and Government leadership on status and risks
• Lead operational initiatives and track milestones against IMS
• Develop and implement DoD IT policies, processes, and SOPs
• Manage client SLAs and QoS reporting
• Maintain COOP readiness for mission essential systems
• Onboard and train contractor staff; ensure access actions completed
