Job summary

Avaya is seeking an experienced Government Account Manager to drive strategic growth across the DoD, including the U.S. Army.

You will develop executive relationships, identify and close new business, and expand existing DoD accounts with Avaya''s secure communications portfolio, including FedRAMP IL2/IL4 cloud voice and collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate has a track record selling enterprise communications into complex federal environments, deep knowledge of the DoD acquisition

Qualifications

10+ years of CX/UC/CC technology sales experience with the U.S. Federal Government.
Proven success managing strategic DoD/Army accounts and exceeding sales objectives.
Strong relationships within DoD, Army, and federal systems integrators preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets across DoD accounts, including U.S. Army.
Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across Army and defense agencies.
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while expanding Avaya's DoD footprint.
Position Avaya's secure communications portfolio (FedRAMP IL2/IL4) including UC, CCaaS and cloud voice solutions.
Navigate FAR/DFARS processes and contract vehicles to win deals.
Collaborate with engineering, contracts, legal, marketing, and partners to craft winning customer solutions.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline and executive reviews in CRM.
Travel as required to support engagements and events.
