Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA, seeks a Contracts Management Manager - Level 5 to lead a team across diverse program areas. You will supervise recruitment, training, performance, and disciplinary actions, while managing contract actions from capture to administration and advising on business strategies with cross-functional partners.

The role interfaces with customer buyers, ensures compliance with laws and Delegation of Authority, and may lead internal/external audits and training on contract

Qualifications

• DoD contracting experience demonstrated.
• Experience with all phases of proposal development, contract negotiations and administration.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Demonstrated mastery with FAR/DFARS.
• Experience using interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracts management across the full lifecycle of contract actions from capture through administration.
• Provide business guidance and coordinate with cross-functional partners including management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, HR, accounting and compliance.
• Represent the company with customer buying representatives and manage contracts to support business goals.
• Lead and support audits and plan/train on contract practices; collect data and prepare reports.
