Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Anti-Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires an active Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access and extensive DoD system engineering background.

You will assess electronics for CPI protection, provide RFP oversight, and collaborate with evaluation teams to mitigate vulnerabilities while supporting weapon system programs through lifecycle stages.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility and ability to transfer/maintain
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with at least 12 years of DoD/government/contractor experience
• Master’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 10 years of DoD/government/contractor experience
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 8 years
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems engineering processes, policies, and procedures for acquisition, fielding, sustainment, modernization and disposal of weapons systems with emphasis on Program Protection and anti-tamper methods
• Assess circuitry, processors, and memory to determine reverse engineering approaches for electronic systems
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including long-term planning, RFP development, and oversight of ongoing projects
• Review proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility
• Assess capability in meeting design requirements and CPI protection needs
• Develop plans to assess security features of Government/Commercial off-the-shelf components for CPI susceptibility
• Collaborate with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand designs and identify vulnerabilities
• Support improvements in anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, and sustainment
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system/subsystem/component testing
• Conduct performance, supportability, schedule and risk assessments and trade studies
