Job summary

AbbVie Information Security is seeking a Senior Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to lead data protection across endpoints, networks and cloud. This role can be virtual anywhere in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with information security focus and relevant experience.
• Experience in data loss prevention or insider risk is required.
• Strong written communication for investigations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex DLP investigations from alert to closure, including insider risk cases.
• Escalation point for DLP team; provide guidance on advanced analyses.
• Design, build, test, and tune DLP policies and detection rules in Purview.
• Develop Splunk searches, dashboards, and reports to support investigations and metrics.
• Review alerts to identify tuning opportunities and new use cases.
• Correlate DLP data with endpoint, email, cloud, and network logs to map data exfiltration.
• Support migration from legacy DLP platforms and ensure detection parity.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Compliance, and Privacy; document findings clearly.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to playbooks and runbooks.
