Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Data Loss Prevention Analyst to lead data security controls across endpoints, network and cloud. You will partner with IT and legal teams to protect sensitive data from insider risks while enabling collaboration.

The role requires strong experience with DLP platforms, Splunk, and Microsoft Purview, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. Remote work is supported in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience in data loss prevention or insider risk.
• Excellent written communication for legal, HR and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead data loss investigations from alert to closure.
• Serve as senior escalation point for DLP team.
• Design, test, tune DLP policies and detection rules in Purview.
• Develop Splunk searches, dashboards, and reports for DLP investigations.
• Review alert queue for tuning opportunities and gaps.
• Correlate DLP telemetry with other data sources to map exfiltration.
• Support migration from legacy DLP platform including policy mapping.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Compliance, and Privacy on investigations.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to playbooks.
